In early 2021, my intense focus on customer service was met with a disappointing experience in the home and furniture sector.
With years of experience as an entrepreneur, it was just when my wife and I first entered the market to furnish our home that I felt a significant gap in the home furniture industry. The most fundamental issue was the mismatch between the expectations presented and the services provided. Our experience with the products had no relation to the price and our expectations. I felt that my trust had been exploited, and I couldn’t provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for my family, which left my curious mind pondering. I was shocked by the low quality of products, lack of after-sales services, delayed deliveries, and extremely high prices.
On the other hand, the idea of returning home and being in a high-quality, safe environment has always been as important to me as hard work and productivity. I have always wanted the home space to maintain its freshness and quality, even after many years. Relying on my boldness, curiosity, and passion for this field, the idea of filling this gap grew stronger in my mind every day. I wondered how one could offer services that matched the price provided. How could the sense of satisfaction and trust be created in myself and others? I relied on my strong enthusiasm for social interaction, professional activity, and building successful relationships with people and started to build the home that I had in mind.

From the beginning of 2021 until mid-year, thanks to the hard work of the team we assembled, our first products arrived. We traveled a lot and thoroughly reviewed the foundations of our vision. We started with a limited number of products, aimed to keep the quantity low so that we could focus on the quality of the products, the capacity to provide services, and customer feedback. Our first success was that our products reached customers in the best possible way, leading to their satisfaction.

Our main focus was on achieving the best balance between price and quality, easy access to online services, and timely delivery. Over time, we came to understand how the waiting period for the purchased furniture could significantly impact the experience of using it. I came to the realization that I am not selling a product, but I am offering a feeling.

I’ve learned over time that a house should allow space to breathe. Like a warm embrace, it should have room for a deep breath and allow the energy of those we love to flow freely within it. I’ve always admired simplicity, finding in it a kind of direct interaction with one’s inner self, the environment, and others.

ChicRoom is a reflection of a day in my life—a strong desire for hard work and activity during the day, and the importance of rest, comfort, and relaxation when returning home at night.
